What is best in life?

When everything goes well we do not reflect on what is best in life but in times of stress, work, or private, or when health problems arise, we also think about how we should change some aspects of everyday life to increase our well-being. Here you will find valuable tips that will help you live better and be happy.

Intangible factors

All those things that cannot be bought belong to this group.

  • health
  • education
  • self-determination and freedom of decision
  • political situation
  • social status
  • cultural offer
  • nature
  • family

Material factors

The material factors are, on the contrary,  everything you can buy: economic security itself, the house, the car, food, etc … They are certainly very important aspects, but only when the intangible quality of life decreases we understand what it is that really matters.

Here’s how to improve the quality of your life

Unfortunately, we do not always have full control over events but what we can do is learn to better manage the situations that arise before us. In this way, the quality of our life will improve even when circumstances are not favorable. Here are some little tips in this regard.

1. Take care of your health

Have you ever gotten seriously ill and can’t think of anything other than getting well as soon as possible? All other problems become irrelevant at that moment.

This happens to most of us: we only care about our health when we are already sick. Tip number 2 is related to this first and tells you one of the ways to maintain health and fitness.

2. Do more movement

And we don’t mean sport, any kind of movement is good for the body and mind. Do you know when after work you feel exhausted and can’t wait to throw yourself on the sofa? That’s exactly the moment you need to be able to clear your mind.

A walk, a bike ride, a workout in the gym help you feel better. In our Shape Program, you will find a nutrition and training program that allows you to achieve great results with little effort in just 12 weeks.

3. Eat healthily

Fruits, vegetables, and a balanced diet help you improve performance and support your health. Don’t you know healthy recipes that are also good? Click here and try ours!

4. Practice various relaxation techniques

The stress at work or personal level is one of the main reasons for the deterioration in the quality of life. We often use the wrong relaxation techniques that stress our body even more and trigger a vicious cycle.

In this article in our coach section, find out how to relax faster.

5. Expand your network of contacts

The more we grow, the more obligations in everyday life increase, and the friends we used to see every day, meet them less and less. It happens to everyone.

While this is a normal process, this can lead to a deterioration in the quality of your life. Find the hobbies that allow you to get in touch with new people: a sports club, a dance course or cuisine they offer you, for example, the opportunity to make new acquaintances.

6. Set goals and work towards them

Are you happy with your current life? Are you happy with what you have achieved or did you imagine something different?

Find a pastime that makes you grow on a personal level. Set professional or private goals and work towards them. Small successes improve the quality of life and achieving the goal is the icing on the cake.

7. Learn to manage losses

It is absolutely normal to experience defeats from time to time, everything cannot always go well. The important thing is not to be depressed. Look at defeats as a  time of growth and focus on what you have learned to do better next time.

8. Surround yourself with positive people

Think for a moment about the people around you. Are they positive presences that support you? Or, instead, are they holding you back from achieving your goals? If the answer to this last question is yes, perhaps it is better to dismiss them.

The first step is: become a positive person yourself. In what situations do you find yourself having negative thoughts? Take note of these thoughts and try to see if they really make sense, then come up with a completely opposite sentence.

It may seem like a weird exercise at first, but over time your brain learns to embrace these positive thoughts.

9. Be grateful

Learning to exercise gratitude is one of the greatest ways to improve the quality of your life. As soon as you learn to be deeply grateful for all the beautiful things around you, you will be much happier.

Be aware of what you have, who you are, the experiences you have had, and what you have learned from them. Take all good and bad experiences with gratitude.
